• When was your nonprofit established?

  Families Together was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals from Lutheran Churches who came together to address a concern for families in crisis.

  Our non-profit is filled with dedicated professionals at every level who deeply share a belief that every family deserves a home, and children should never worry about where they will sleep at night.

• Tell us about your logo or how your nonprofit's name originated?

  Our logo seeks to engender hope and opportunity. At the center is a handprint of a 6-year-old child who participated in our program from 2015-16.

• How does your nonprofit care for the unhoused?

  Every family receives stable housing and wrap-around services to help them achieve financial security, employment, improved education and health, and increased earning capacity.

• What is your favorite fact or statistic regarding your nonprofit's work?

  We are so proud that approximately 94% of families we house graduate after holding a lease in their own names for a year.
