Thanks to your support, at our 4th Annual JCF Golf Tournament, we raised $28,207.41 to support JCF's mission of partnering with nonprofits to tangibly impact the unhoused. Every dollar raised will make an impact in our community.

Partner Events

A Place at the Table

JCF enjoyed being a part of the A Place at the Table Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo in April! In addition to sponsoring the rodeo, JCF also provided grocery vouchers for the Ripe For Revival Mobile Market. Events like these are what JCF was made for. Supporting our community, uplifting our partners, and helping everyone, regardless of means, enjoy some delicious food!

New Partnership!

We are pleased to announce our newest partner, Family Promise of the Triangle! Family Promise of the Triangle's mission to transform the lives of families experiencing temporary homelessness is a perfect synergistic fit for JCF's work! Our first act of partnership is sponsoring their event, Night of Hope: an evening dedicated to community, compassion, and the families they serve, on Thursday, September 10th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. Please learn more about this event and Family Promise!

Helen Wright Center

We loved serving up a warm baked potato bar to residents of the Helen Wright Center! The women enjoyed the delicious meal and the company of our wonderful volunteers, and we enjoyed making an impact on our community!

Community Events

Wake County Government County Housing Symposium

Jennifer Hamliton, Executive Director of JCF, attended the Wake County Government County Housing Symposium: Aligning for Impact, where partners from across sectors came together to strengthen coordination and identify opportunities to expand housing options. Hosted by the Wake County Housing Affordability and Community Revitalization Department, the symposium explored how different sectors can contribute to housing solutions, from employers supporting workforce housing to philanthropic partners helping scale effective models and policy leaders shaping long-term solutions across North Carolina. At the event, Morgan Mansa, Wake County Affordable Housing Director, shared some words that perfectly reflected the event and the work that lies ahead of us. NC Housing Days 2026

On April 29, JCF's Executive Director, Jennifer Hamilton, along with Jasmine Radcliff and Brad McHugh, met with our state legislators in Raleigh. Our goal was to explain to them how important affordable housing is to North Carolina and the crucial role the state plays in it. NC Housing Day is hosted by Habitat for Humanity of North Carolina, the North Carolina Housing Coalition, the NC Community Land Trust Coalition, and the North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness.
