Duke PTCT Rainbow of Heroes Walk

A little rain could NEVER stop us or the Rainbow of Heroes Walk!

This is one of JCF's favorite events! We loved being a part of this special day, serving food, popcorn, and capturing smiles in the photo booth.

The Rainbow of Heroes Walk is a reunion for patients, families, medical staff, volunteers, and supporters who have come to know each other through the months-long transplant process. It’s also the main fundraiser for our partner, the Duke PTCT Family Support Program.

Families Together

Graduation Ceremony

JCF had the pleasure of volunteering at the Families Together graduation ceremony in June! At the event, JCF volunteers had the opportunity to serve dinner and mix and mingle with their wonderful participant families.

Back-To-School Distribution Day

We were honored to be a part of Families Together's Back-to-School Distribution Day for the second year in a row! There, 24 families, which included 40 children, received everything they needed to start the school year right! The backpacks JCF provided were an especially big hit.

Visibility

There are so many issues facing the unhoused in our community. These are the issues JCF is working to improve every day through our work and partnerships in the community.

In 2024, JCF provided over $118,000 through grants, sponsorships, and donations-in-kind. We're proud of this accomplishment, and we hope to keep expanding our reach.
